Worcester Area Masters (WAM) Swimming is based at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in Worcester, MA. Since being formed in 2011, we’ve welcomed swimmers of all levels into our family. Members of the WPI community- students, faculty, and staff- are welcomed to swim with us at no cost.

 Our heavy focus on technique-building and a healthy social life set us apart from other groups and results in significant improvements amongst our members.

Most “WAMmies” tend to enter competitions – swim meets, triathlons, open-water swims – within six months of their entry, however, some prefer to pursue a more leisurely path.
