Swimming Saves Lives – WAM 2022

WAM has been approved to run Swimming Saves Lives again this year – in partnership with the Central YMCA (Main Street)

For those that may be new  – Swimming Saves Lives (SSL)is a free program run trough USMS and now also USA swimming that empowers master swimmers to pass on their skills and teach other adults to swim or to improve their strokes.

It is fun, rewarding, simple & social – you can all do it and I really need your help.

I can pass along the ALTS (Adult Learn to Swim) guidelines – Alford may still have a pdf from prior years.  You do not have to have any certification to help – this is a great group activity.

When:  Monday OR Thursday evenings in APRIL (which is also Adult Learn to Swim month!) 7-8:30PM. _. I can arrange with Adriana  permission for you to skip practice for Thursday PM group as it will start after the SCY championships

Where:  Main Street YMCA Worcester ((Central YMCA)

This program works with adults 19+ however they need/want to improve their swimming.  Each year we’ve worked to make it better and add some water safety too.

Please email or text me which days you might be willing to help. Can be for the whole 90 minutes or any part of.  Each group will have 4 in water lessons.  No lessons the week of April school vacation.
