WAM Improves at SCY Champs

The power of Ramseas- our very ‘punny’ mascot- was clearly in force at the New England LMSC SCY Championships over the past two weekends. In a very keenly contested battle for the top three positions, WAM ended-up with 2nd Place in the medium workout group category. This was the team’s best ever showing in this grouping.

A total of 65 individual and 6 relay team records were set! To add to these impressive results: a number of Wammies were able to swim on par with the qualifying times for the 15th FINA World Masters Championships. These performances will be made official when WAM next gets into action at the 2014 Worcester Area Masters Invitational. This will be a short course meters meet at the beautiful WPI pool on Saturday, April 26. WAM looks forward to having lots of fun with its fans and competitors!
